The objective of Preparative HPLC is the isolation and purification of a valuable product or compound. This is an important collection method for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and biochemistry industries. Our instruments and custom preparative HPLC columns are designed for high loadability with a range of particle sizes and surface chemistries. Jordi Labs’ preparative systems handle flow rates up to 100 mL/min using columns with inside diameters from 10 to 50 mm. A typical project includes the initial method development on analytical columns, using custom packings to maximize performance, followed by scale-up to the preparative system using prep-sized columns with the same column chemistry.
